Cases

Torfs

Context

After 33 years as CEO of Schoenen Torfs, Wouter Torfs is passing the torch to his niece Lise Conix. The handover is to be an official and symbolic moment.

Approach

We prepare Lise Conix for this communication and provide in-depth personal branding training. We organise a press conference in a shop where Wouter Torfs literally passes the ‘shoe’ on to Lise and  we ensure the right press communication. In the run-up, we arrange (double) interviews in newspapers and reports on television. Our approach was rewarded with a bronze BORA (Best of Reputation Award) in the category ‘CEO Positioning & Thought Leadership’.

Special Olympics

Context

Special Olympics is more than a sports organisation. They strive for an inclusive society and they do so at various levels, including education. Therefore, they launch a special teaching package that teaches children about people with intellectual disabilities.

Approach

We provide an à la carte approach for the press and let journalists attend the first lesson of a Special Olympics athlete. We draft a relevant press release that fully explains the initiative and we put a more inclusive society on the agenda.

Telenet

Context

All Belgian channel groups join forces to introduce a modified TV advertising model for recordings and delayed viewing. Telenet is the first telecom player to integrate the model.

Approach

We bring all stakeholders together and agree on 1 approach, 1 message, 1 spokesperson and 1 Q&A. The minister for media and media experts are also proactively involved. Our approach was rewarded with a gold and bronze BORA (Best of Reputation Award).
